FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Utah track & field had a great day closing out the NCAA West Regionals on Saturday at John McDonell Field as the Utes saw

Josefine Eriksen,
Harley Daniel and the 4x400m relay team all advance to the NCAA Championships (June 6 & 8).

Utah has now had someone qualify for the NCAA Championships in 15 of the 19 seasons head coach
Kyle Kepler has been at the helm. Additionally, the Women of Utah will also send multiple competitors to the championships for the third-straight season and eighth time overall under the direction of Kepler. Meanwhile, it is the second-straight season the Utes have had three individuals qualify for nationals. To cap the night off, Utah's 4x400m relay team became the first squad in program history to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships.

Bri Rinn was the first to take the track on Saturday for the Women of Utah, posting a time of 4:23.30 in her heat of the 1500m quarterfinals to close out her season.

Vringer punched her ticket to the NCAA Championships shortly thereafter in the next heat when she finished fifth in her heat, 13th-overall, to earn an automatic qualifying spot when she crossed the finish line at 4:18.33.

Eriksen gave the Women of Utah their second qualifier on the evening when she finished third in her heat and sixth-overall in the 800m race with a mark of 2:02.59. This is the second time in Eriksen's career that she's advanced to the National Championships with her first appearance coming in 2022 – her first season at Utah.

Daniel made it three in a row for Utah when she grabbed the final time qualifying spot in the 400m hurdles with another PR run of 57.45. Daniel becomes the second member of her family to compete at the NCAA Championships, joining her older brother
Rieker Daniel (Oregon '22) – who is also on staff at Utah.

Katarzyna Nowakowska and
Lindsey Peters were in the second heat for the 5000m race and finished within less than two tenths from one another. Nowakowska, a freshman, would cross the finish line just ahead of Peters with a mark of 16:36.23 while Peters posted 16:36.36 to finish out their outdoor season.

Utah's 4x400m relay team of
Ally Gomm, Eriksen, Daniel and
Bailey Kealamakia concluded the weekend for Utah, taking fourth in their heat with a school-record breaking run of 3:32.60. It took a couple heats to solidify Utah's spot at the championships but by the end of the third heat, it saw itself earn one-of-three time qualifying spots to compete at Hayward Field.
