Josefine Eriksen,
Ally Gomm and
Brooke Manson of the Utah cross country and track & field team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team the organization announced on Tuesday.

This is the third-straight year at least one Ute has been named to the academic all-district team. This is the first time all three have been recognized on the all-district team.

Eriksen advanced to the NCAA Championships in the 800m event and also ran as a member of the 4x400m relay team – which was the first time the Women of Utah had sent a team to the championships. Her 800m mark of 2:01.58 (aa) was the 14th-fastest time in the NCAA heading to regionals.

Additionally, Eriksen will be competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris as a member of the Norwegian 4x400m relay team.

Gomm also made her first appearance at the NCAA Championships as a member of the 4x400m relay team. Manson missed out on advancing to the championships in Eugene after running the 50th fastest 800m time in the country ahead of the NCAA Regionals.
