SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah Ski Team and director of skiing
Fredrik Landstedt will host an open house and reception at the Spence Eccles Ski Team Building on Friday, Sept. 27 from 3-7 p.m. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Complimentary parking will be available in the lot directly in front of the Spence Eccles Ski Team Building.
Everyone is invited for the free event—fans, alumni, friends of the program, and those who simply want to come out and meet the Utes from both the alpine and Nordic teams. Attendees can take part in a meet-and-greet with the Utes skiers and coaching staff, and enjoy a tour the building.
Tours will include the team's recently-completed treadmill building, adjacent to the Spence Eccles Ski Team Building. Opened in 2023, the game-changing expansion puts Utah in rare company in collegiate skiing, as the 660-square foot space includes a Tuff Tread ski treadmill, allowing Nordic student-athletes to train off snow at any time of day—together or independently.
