Stines Named 2025 Pre-Season All-American Honorable Mention

USA Lacrosse announced selections on Wednesday
SPARKS, Md. – Just eleven days until their season opener, the University of Utah lacrosse program's Ryan Stines received his second USA Lacrosse Pre-Season All-American honorable mention honors after being named to the 2025 list, USA Lacrosse announced today.
After the 2024 season, Stines was named ASUN Player of the Year, thanks to his 48 goals on the season. The North Carolina native was ranked first in the conference and 14th nationally in goals per game with 2.82. He was also ranked second in the ASUN for points per game, averaging 3.94. Stines has started and appeared in 34 matches in his two competing years with Utah.
Stines's name appears several times in the Utah Lacrosse record book. He is currently the school record holder for single-season points with 67, ranks third in career points with 116 and third in goals with 86.
This will be the first time Stines has been awarded this honor, but he was awarded a place on the USA Lacrosse All-American honorable mention list in 2024.
Stines and the rest of the Lacrosse crew are making their way to Fairfield, Connecticut for a scrimmage with Fairfield University before their season opener at Ohio State on Feb. 1.
