NEW ORLEANS – Utah track & field's DMR team consisting of
Bri Rinn,
Emily Martin,
Kyla Martin,
Erin Vringer and
Madi Hulsey (alt) all garnered All-America honors when they finished fifth-overall at the NCAA Indoor Championships last Friday behind the second fastest time in program history at 10:53.50.
Â
They also became Utah's first DMR squad to earn All-America accolades. The last time Utah had All-Americans during the indoor season came in 2022-23 when Simone Plourde and Emily Venters took home the hardware for their efforts in the 3000m and 5000m, respectively.
Â
This is the first time all five have earned USTFCCCA First-Team All-America honors in their careers. E. Martin, the elder Martin sister, earned honorable mentioned status last spring as a member of Utah's 4x400m relay team while Vringer earned honorable mention in the 1500m during the outdoor season.
