IRVING, Texas – The Utah Volleyball program, coming off a third-place finish in its first Big 12 season, will enter the 2025 season eager to build on that performance.
The Big 12 has released its 10-week conference slate for 2025, that will include 18 conference matches for each member school, beginning Sept. 25 for Utah.

Each Big 12 school will play 10 teams once and four teams twice. Those four teams for Utah will be Arizona, Arizona State, BYU and Colorado to play home and away matches. The Utes' non-conference schedule will be announced later this spring.

Beth Launiere, who enters her 36th season as the leader of the Utes' volleyball program. "The conference has established itself as one of the best in the nation, and I expect 2025 to be no different. New traditions and rivalries have been created and we are ready to get going after finishing third in our inaugural season."

The Big 12 Conference finished the 2024 season tied for the second-highest percentage of its teams ranked of any league nationally (33%) and tied for second among leagues with five ranked teams in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association/TARAFLEX Poll. The conference has had six teams selected to the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship in back-to-back seasons and tied for second nationally among leagues with four teams hosting first and second rounds in 2024.

Utah's strong returning team in 2025 will open conference play at home in the Jon M. Huntsman Center against Iowa State on Thursday, Sept. 25, and the first of two matchups with Colorado on Saturday, Sept. 27. A week later, the Utes head out on the road for the first time, to the state of Arizona, for the first of two clashes with the Wildcats and Sun Devils. Utah faces Arizona in Tucson on Thursday, Oct. 2, followed by a Saturday, Oct. 4 contest at Arizona State.

The following week, Utah returns home for a single match, Thursday, Oct. 9, vs. Houston. The Utes take to the road to wrap up their season series with Colorado in Boulder on Wednesday, Oct. 15, then return home for the second of a pair of matches against Arizona State on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Utah goes back out on the road for a Wednesday, Oct. 22, match at Cincinnati, followed by a date with West Virginia in Morgantown on Friday, Oct. 24. The Utes will wrap up the month of October at home, hosting Kansas State on Wednesday, Oct. 29 and Central Florida on Halloween night, Friday, Oct. 31.

The final month of the regular season begins for Utah in the Lone Star State, with a visit to Fort Worth to battle TCU on Friday, Nov. 7, and a date with Baylor in Waco on Sunday, Nov. 9. The first of two rivalry matches with BYU awaits Utah on a return to the Huntsman Center on Friday, Nov. 14, to begin a three-match homestand. Kansas visits Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Nov. 19, followed by a visit from Arizona on Friday, Nov. 21.

Utah finishes the Big 12 schedule with a pair of road matches, first at BYU to complete the regular season series with the Cougars, on Wednesday, Nov. 26, then at Texas Tech on Saturday, Nov. 29.
