
Utah Swim & Dive Produces 15 CSCAA Scholar All-Americans

Utah swim and dive had 15 student-athletes earn CSCAA Scholar All-American honors.
VANCOUVER, B.C. – The Utah swimming & diving program had 15 student-athletes garner CSCAA Scholar All-America honors.

To qualify for CSCAA First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.

This marks back-to-back seasons where the Utes have had at least 15 honored by the Collegiate Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America – while the 15 marks the second-most Utah has earned in a single year trailing the 16 accomplished in 2024 and 2021.

In addition, both men's and women's teams also earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors with a team cumulative GPA above 3.0, respectively.

Of the 15 honored, the Utes had three earn first-team honors – two from the women's side and one from the men's side in Callie Eaglestone, Kathryn Grant and Elias Petersen. It marks the third-consecutive season Grant has earned first-team accolades while this is Petersen's second-straight year and Eaglestone's first.

On the men's side, Brandon Miller, Evan VanBrocklin and Jesco Helling earned second-team honors for the third-straight year while Baylor Lewis has now gone back-to-back seasons. Owen Carlsen, Nick Chirafisi, Quinn Jones, Durgan McKean and Jakub Walter all picked up the award for the first time in their careers.

On the women's side, Norah Hay picked up second-team accolades for the third-straight year while Erin Palmer and Sydney Kowalski made it back-to-back seasons.
