NEW ORLEANS – The Utah cross country team has once again earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors for the 13th-consecutive season with a team GPA of 3.80 while
Annastasia Peters and
Erin Vringer garnered individual accolades.
Utah's cumulative team GPA of 3.80 was tops among Big 12 programs for the second-straight year. Head coach
Kyle Kepler's teams have now earned team all-academic honors in 19 of the 21 years he's been on the Hill.
This is the third-straight year Peters has earned all-academic team honors while Vringer has now been selected back-to-back years.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
