Brandon Robison surged up the leaderboard in final day of play
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
Dates: March 9-10
Location: Lake Merced Golf Club | Daly City, Cali.
Par/Yardage: Par 72, 6,915 yards
DALY CITY, Cali. — No. 24 Utah Golf moved up one spot on the leaderboard in the final day of play at the inaugural Desimone Invitational to finish in 12th place going 6-over 294 and finishing even through three rounds.
Brandon Robison continued his climb up the leaderboard from the day before in the final 18-holes, shooting 4-under 68 on the day, and 8-under 208 over all three rounds for a piece of seventh place.
Outside of Robison, day two proved to be a tough outing for the Utes with no other player finishing under par for round three.
Jack Jerge went 1-over 73 to finish the Desimone 2-over 218, tying for 44th while Sergio Jimenez was 6-over 78 in round three and 4-over 220 to tie for 56th.
Gabriel Palacios tied for 60th after a 3-over 75 day to finish 5-over 221 over two days.
Davis Johnson rounded out Utah's starting five going 6-over 78 in the final round of play to tie for 77th place with a 10-over 226 for the entire tournament.

On Brandon Robison's seventh place finish…
"Brandon is a great player who has been struggling this season so him having a good week is awesome. He still has some things to clean up—he's good enough to compete for tournament wins. He had a good tournament, and it was nice to see him play good golf. Other than that, we have a lot of work to do because right now we are not performing at a high enough level."
