SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team announced the addition of German forward Alec Anigbata to its roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

Anigbata comes to the Wasatch Front with experience in the German Bundesliga as a member of Ratiopharm Ulm and on the international stage as a member of the German U20 team.

Ratiopharm Ulm
- Has played in 57 career games with Ratiopharm Ulm – including 18 starts
- Helped Ratiopharm Ulm to a runner-up finish in the German BBL last season (2025)
- Averaged 15.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 2024-25 with OrangeAcademy before joining Ratiopharm Ulm
- Member of the German U20 Team that competed at the FIBA U20 Eurobasket in 2024

The Munich, Germany, native joins Taison Chatman, Jackson Holcombe, Styles Clemmons, Zati Loubaki and return missionaries Jaxon Johnson and David Katoa for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
