DES MOINES, Iowa – The Utah track & field team closed out day two of the Drake Relays on Friday inside Drake Stadium.
Utah started the day off in the 4x1600m relay led off by
Mackenzie Rogers and followed by
Emily Junginger,
Grace Moroney and
Josie Fale. The quartet would finish in 19:21.71 – which would be the third-fastest time for Utah all-time in the event.
Kyla Martin was Utah's top finisher in the university division of the 800m run, finishing third-overall with a time of 2:07.50. Meanwhile, teammate Madi Husley came in fifth after crossing the finish line at 2:08.60.
Lindsey Peters wrapped up the day on the track when she placed second-overall in the 1500m run with a mark of 4:17.27 – which was just off of her PR.
