Kamper and Akid Earn All-Big 12 Conference Honors

SALT LAKE CITY – The Big 12 Conference announced the 2026 Post Season Awards for women's tennis with Utah's Emma Kamper earning All-Big 12 First Team Singles and Sara Akid earning All-Big 12 Second Team Singles honors.
Kamper, a junior from Vejle, Denmark played exclusively at the No. 1 spot for Utah. She posted a 16-3 overall singles record and went undefeated in Big 12 play with a perfect 8-0 record.
Akid, a junior from Casablanca, Morocco played primarily at the No. 2 spot for the Utes. She posted a 14-6 overall singles record and went 6-1 in Big 12 action.

Utah will take on California in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament hosted by USC. The Utes and the Bears will battle on Friday, May 1 at 12 p.m. (MT)
