Get to Know Newcomer Forward Olivia Bradley

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Women's Basketball is gearing up for the 2026-27 season and with the new season the Utes are welcoming nine newcomers, transfer, Olivia Bradley, being one of them.

Bradley, an Adelaid, South Australia, native joins the Utes after spending three seasons at UC Santa Barbara. At UC Santa Barbara she averaged 9.3 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game. She shot 47.3% from the field, 26.9% from three and 70.5% from the line.

Why did you choose Utah?

A: The people. I loved the coaching staff and the returning girls. I enjoyed them as people and what they wanted to do with the team. I really liked their vision for the program.

What's one of your core basketball memories?

A: I think playing in the rec league in Malbacca. As an eight-year old, I just remember playing with a bunch of little kids, no air conditioning, hot and my whole family would come out. Even my grandparents would come out and just have a good time.

What is your favorite thing about Salt Lake City so far?

A: All the coffee shops. I'm a big coffee girl so I like to go out and try new places.

What's something about your basketball game you're most proud of?

A: I'm really proud of my work ethic on the floor. I feel like I come out with intensity every day and I'm here to compete every day. I just like getting better and I like getting my teammates better.

What is something in your basketball game you're looking to get better at?

A: Definitely my ball handling skills and my three point shooting. I want to increase my three point percentage and become more reliable with the ball.

What's currently on your FYP?

A: Cooking videos. Recipes and how to cook different foods. All that good stuff. I love to cook so I've been loving it.

What is a food from home that you can't get here that you really miss?

A: Oh, I really miss meat pies and chicken parmigianas.

What was the last thing you asked ChatGPT?

A: I was making dinner for the team the other night and I asked chat how much food I needed to make for eight hungry college athletes.

What's your favorite TV show?

A: The Summer I Turned Pretty. It's so sweet, I'm actually re-watching it right now.

What's your go-to Swig order?

A: The Founder with Coke Zero. (The Founder drink mixes Diet Coke, sugar-free coconut syrup, a fresh lime squeeze, and coconut cream)

What's something that everyone knows about you?

A: I'm a pretty social gal. I like to always be with people. I'm a yapper and I like to talk to people, interact and get to know them.

What are three words to describe yourself?

A: Talkative, Outgoing, Fun

What's one thing you want the world to know about you?

A: I want everyone to know that I would cook for them if they asked. I love to cook.
