At the NCAA National Meet, had a mark of 187-8 in the semifinals of the hammer to earn 13th place overall (five inches short of qualifying for finals) ... earned 10th place overall at the NCAA West Regional Meet after a 187-4 effort in the hammer ... won the hammer throw at the MWC Championships with a 197-7 effort, also posted the team's second highest performance in the discus throw with a mark of 143-4 ... took first place in the hammer throw at the Utah Twilight with a toss of 194-11 ... had a PR of 199-0 at the Mark Faldmo Invite for first-place overall, which led the conference ... earned All-MWC honors.
2009 Indoor Track:
Earned fourth-place overall in the weight throw at the MWC Championships with a 57-3.75 toss ... set a new PR in the weight throw at the Wildcat Tune Up with a toss of 58-2.5 for a first-place finish ... finished third in the weight throw with a toss of 53-5 at the Utah State Invitational ... placed third at the Bronco Invitational with a 54-1 mark in the weight throw ... also had a season best in the shot put at the Bronco Invite with a toss of 40-1.25 for eighth-place overall.
2008 Outdoor Track:
At the MWC Championships threw a 150-4 hammer to earn 13th-place overall ... had a season best throw in the hammer of 170-5 at the Utah State Outdoor Open and ranked seventh on the conference outdoor list ... earned academic all-conference honors.
2008 Indoor Track:
Competed at the MWC Indoor Championships with a 36-11.75 in the shot put ... also competed in the weight throw at the indoor championships for a PR of 52-3.25 for 12th-place ... had a PR of 41-1.5 in the shot put at the Weber State Tune-Up for fifth-place overall.
