2020 Football Ticketing FAQ
To best accommodate our football season ticket holders during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have compiled answers to a variety of important questions. Please see below for the most detailed information we are able to provide at this time.

- Will the 2020 football season begin on time?
- Speculation about the effects of the COVID-19 virus on the 2020 football season, including a delayed start of the season, is premature. We will continue to follow the advice and directives of University leadership, health experts and medical officials.
- Will the season be shortened?
- Again, it is too soon to speculate if and how the 2020 football season might be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- What is Utah Athletics’ policy regarding season ticket payments if any portion of the season does not take place?
- While speculation about a shortened or canceled 2020 football season is premature, we have added the following temporary provisions to our season ticket policy to account for these possibilities and provide security for season ticket holders:
- Transference of payments to the following season (2021)
- Re-allocation of payments to a tax-deductible donation to the University of Utah
- Full refunds of payments
- Do these options apply to Crimson Club Scholarship Seating obligations as well?
- Yes, each of the options above is applicable to the Crimson Club Scholarship Seating obligation associated with season football tickets.
- While speculation about a shortened or canceled 2020 football season is premature, we have added the following temporary provisions to our season ticket policy to account for these possibilities and provide security for season ticket holders:
- Why is Utah Athletics moving forward with season ticket renewals given the uncertainty surrounding the impact of the pandemic on the 2020 football season?
- The May 13 renewal deadline allows us to prepare to host the 2020 home football schedule and fulfill our commitments to our season ticket holders, as well as provide the resources our student-athletes need: tuition, room and board, academic support, medical and athletic training services, strength and conditioning, nutrition and more.
- What is my option if I am not comfortable attending games in 2020, but I would like to keep the renewal rights to my seats for 2021?
- Season ticket holders may maintain the renewal rights to their seats by paying the Crimson Club Scholarship Seating obligation and fees associated with their seats and allowing Utah Athletics to sell the tickets for the 2020 season.
- How are non-season ticket holders able to inquire about season tickets?
- Non-season ticket holders who would like to receive information about acquiring season tickets are encouraged to sign up for the free wait list.
