Members of the Utah Baseball team visited Charlie Monfort Field at America First Ballpark to celebrate the final steel beam being raised and placed into the structure. The student-athletes, coaching and support staff, construction members and a few additional supporters were on hand to sign the beam. After it was secured, everyone in attendance enjoyed hot dogs near where the future pitcher's mound will be located.
Masonry work throughout the main ballpark structure has moved along at an impressive pace. In addition, concrete is being poured for the Utes' adjacent indoor facility.
