Jake Brown is in his second season with the University of Utah baseball program. He came to the Ute program after serving as an assistant coach at Yavapai College for two seasons.
At Yavapai, Brown coached the 2005 junior college defensive player of the year. Brown was responsible for the infield, hitting and recruiting with the Roughriders.
Brown's collegiate playing career consisted of two years at Yavapai, a season at Iowa State and a season at Texas Tech.
Brown holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech.
