2025 Season (Senior)
• Posted a 16-14 overall record
• Started primarily on the No. 4 court but appeared in matches at No. 3 and No. 5
• Went on a four match win streak
• Won a clutch match vs Texas A&M-CC (03/15/25) with 21-14, 21-14 scores with Maeve Griffin which helped Utah win, 3-2
• Starter every match of the season, primarily playing between courts four and five
• Earned a team-best 15 wins, which included 10 on court five
• Partnered with Savannah Cottam to begin the season and ended with Azure McOmber
• Earned Utah's sole point against Louisiana-Monroe with a 21-18, 20-22, 15-12 win on court five
• Helped guide Utah to a 3-2 win over Santa Clara after winning 21-19, 21-19 on court five
• Defeated Saint Mary's No. 5 duo in three sets
• Picked up a three-set win on court four to lead Utah to a 3-2 win over Texas
• Recorded Utah's sole point against Long Beach State with a 21-19, 21-17 win on court four
• Downed Oregon's fifth pair in straight sets in the regular season before doing so again at the Pac-12 Championships to help Utah record its first win in the postseason since 2018
• Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll
2022 Season (Freshman)
• Partnered with Keira Sheehan in five matches at the fifth position at the start of the season
• Went 3-2 overall
• Picked up first career win over Concordia Irvine's fifth duo in three sets (16-21, 22-20, 16-14)
• Earned a dual point against San Jose State with a 21-7, 21-15 win to push Utah to the 3-2 team victory
• Also tallied a win over Ottawa to close out the tournament, defeating the fifth pair 21-7, 21-15
High School/Club
• Played for Singapore American School for a year in high school before returning to the United States to play indoor and beach volleyball at Redondo Union High School
• Competed with International Volleyball Club
• Also played Varsity Touch Rugby where she represented the United States in the Youth National Touch World Cup in Malaysia her sophomore year
Personal
• Daughter of Lisa and Jens Wessel
• Has two siblings: Ella and Emilia
• Grew up living in Singapore until moving back to Redondo Beach as a junior in high school
• Worked with Caring for Cambodia, which was a volunteer group that built schools for the local children
• Enjoys traveling and surfing
