- Participated in Utah's meets against California
- Part of a relay team that took second in the 200 medley at Stanford
- Placed second in the 100 back and part of a second-place effort in the 200 medley relay at Stanford on Oct. 13
- Earned a first-place finish in the 100 back and helped the Utes take first in the 400 medley relay and the 200 free relay vs. UNLV on Nov. 4

- Older brother Catalin-Paul was a swimmer at Utah, who was a Pac-12 champion in the 100 Back to become Utah’s first individual medalist in the conference event and third in program history
- Chose Utah because of the amazing views, great coaches and good film program
- Has done volunteer work to plant trees in Romania because of the deforestation happening in his home country
- Enjoys filmmaking, anything that involves nature, and playing other sports like windsurfing, volleyball, soccer and ski
