Track & Field
Meghan Curtin enters her fifth season as a student assistant coach working with the distance crew on the cross country and track & field teams after wrapping up her collegiate career with the Women of Utah in 2021.Â
She joined the Utes during the COVID-19 season and competed on the track during the 2021 spring season. In her lone season with Utah, Curtin posted six top-10 finishes on the track and three top-12 finishes.Â
During her time at Quinnipiac, Curtin served as a captain her senior year and was a three-time MAAC All-Academic recipient. Her senior year saw her compete at the NCAA Regionals in cross country before helping the Bobcats capture the MAAC Indoor Championship. In addition, Curtin also claimed the 800m title along with a team title as part of the 4x800m relay team.Â
She was a star at the high school level as well, graduating with Salutatorian honors on top of being named an AP Scholar. Curtin closed out her prep career as a 37-time team and individual sectional champion while garnering all-state honors back-to-back years (2013-14) at Wayland-Cohocton High School. She’s also an eight-time state medalist while leading Quinnipiac to several sectional titles on the track. Curtin also helped the Eagles to the triple crown her sophomore season, winning the cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field titles.Â
Curtain graduated from Quinnipiac in the spring of 2020 where she double majored in molecular biology and immunology. She’s currently working on her PhD in biochemistry here at Utah.Â
