SALT LAKE CITY (AP)- Tony Harvey scored 19 points off the bench, and Utah beat Fresno State at its own running, gunning game in an 87-74 victory on Monday night.
The Utes won their 10th straight game and remained undefeated in Western Athletic Conference play, while Fresno State lost for just the third time in its last 12 games.
Harvey scored eight points during a 19-8 Utah run midway through the second half that expanded Utah's lead to 75-58. Courtney Alexander hit back-to-back 3-pointers that pulled Fresno State to within 79-70 with 4:20 to play, but Jeremy Killion scored five quick points to put the game away.
Utah won its 31st straight home game, the fourth-longest streak in the nation and the longest in school history. The Utes haven't lost a game since dropping out of the Top 25 in early December.
