SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah skier Marcus Leunig has been named to the College Sports Information Directors Association District VIII All-Academic team. Leunig, a sophomore with a 3.97 GPA in finance, is a native of Wollerau, Switzerland. He has made the Dean's List and the honor roll four consecutive quarters.

Leunig's best event is the giant slalom, in which he finished third at the New Mexico Invitational this season. Last year, he earned All-America and all-conference honors.
