Football News Names Five Utes To Its All-MWC Team

SALT LAKE CITY -
Football News has released its all-Mountain West Conference football team and five Utes are on it. Senior offensive tackle Doug Kaufusi and junior defensive end Garrett Smith, who were both preseason all-MWC picks, were named to the team, along with senior tight end Michael Richardson, senior defensive lineman Lauvale Sape and junior linebacker Sheldon Deckart.
Kaufusi is making his second appearance on the team. He was a first-team all-MWC pick by the league's coaches, Football News and College Football News in 2000.
