> Utah (7-2, 4-1 MWC) is in sole possession of first place in the Mountain West Conference after beating Air Force, 45-43 in triple overtime on Nov. 1.
Utah has a 'bye' this week before playing Wyoming (4-5, 2-2 MWC) on Nov. 15. Wyoming is also off this week.
> If Utah wins its final two games, it will capture its first outright conference championship since 1957. A win against either Wyoming or Brigham Young (Nov. 22) will guarantee Utah a share of the MWC title.
> Utah's game against Wyoming on Nov. 15 is final home game of the season. Game time is 4:30 p.m. in Rice-Eccles Stadium.
> Utah was 3-6 at this time last year with the same two teams remaining on its schedule (Wyoming and BYU).
> Head coach Urban Meyer will go after career win No. 25 when Utah meets Wyoming. He is 24-8 in his third year as a head coach.
