BOZEMAN, Mont. - Utah enjoyed a strong finish for the second consecutive week at the MSU Invitational Saturday. The Utes end the weekend third overall with 359.5 points, with the University of Colorado leading their second straight event with 449.5 points. The event will conclude February 4th in Aurora, Colo.
Snorri Einarrson finished second in the Men's 20K classic with a time of 1:06:43.22. Teammate Fabian Figi placed fifth, giving the Utes two skiers in the top 10. Ben Fick placed 14th with a time of 1:07:35.59.
On the women's side, the trio of Sara Schweiger, Annelies Cook and Sarah MacCarthy led the way for the Utes. Schweiger finished fifth in Saturday's 15K classic, posting a time of 54:54.48. Cook was 13th with a time of 56:31.11 and MacCarthy finished 16th with a time of 57:06.48.
