STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. - Freshman Thomas Zumbrunn hasn't needed much time to acclimate to his new surroundings. Zumbrunn followed a surprising showing in the men's GS Saturday with another standout performance Sunday night in the men's slalom. The Meiringen, Switzerland finished second in only his second NCAA competition to lead the Utes.
Chirine Njeim led the Utes in the women's slalom with a sixth-place finish. Mikaele Grassl placed 14th.
The team placed fourth in a field of nine teams.
