-Utah snaps a four-game losing streak to BYU and improves to 125-122 in the all-time series. This was Utah's first win over the Cougars since March 9, 2006.
-The Utes are now 11-4 all-time against BYU in overtime games.
-Utah's senior center Luke Nevill scored a career-high 32 points, the second time he has set a career best mark against BYU (previously 29), and completed the double-double with 10 rebounds. Nevill also sank a career-high 12 free throws, going 12-of-14 from the line (.857). He was also 10-of-12 from the field (.833).
-Nevill's double-double was his eighth of the season and 26th of his career. He reached double-figure scoring for the 19th time in 20 games this year and the 93rd time in 111 career games.
-Junior guard Luka Drca recorded a career-high 18 points in the game, surpassing his previous career high of 16, set earlier this year against Green Bay. He also tied his career high for rebounds (7) and his season best for assists (9).
-Drca went 8-of-10 from the free throw line in the game, making his first five straight and extending his streak to 25 consecutive made free throws over 12 games, before missing his sixth attempt.
-Utah shot exactly 50% for the game (28-of-56) and improves to 10-0 on the season when shooting at least 50% from the field.
-The Utes had four players score in double figures: Nevill (32), senior guard Tyler Kepkay (19), Drca (18) and senior guard Lawrence Borha (12).
-Senior forward Shaun Green grabbed six rebounds in the contest including five of Utah's nine offensive boards. BYU recorded six offensive rebounds as a team.
-BYU shot 50.8% on the night, becoming the first Utah opponent in 20 games this year to crack 50% from the field.
