2009 Volleyball Television Schedule Released

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah volleyball team will play five matches on television in 2009, with three contests featured on the MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.). CBS College Sports Network (CBS C) and BYU Television (BYU TV) will each broadcast one match.
The Utes first appear on CBS College Sports, when San Diego State comes to Crimson Court Sept. 19, beginning at 1 p.m. The broadcast will be shown on tape delay Tue., Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. MT.
Utah travels to UNLV Thu., Oct. 1, for a 7:30 p.m. MT match that will be broadcast live on The Mtn. The Utes' next televised contest will be Oct. 23 at in-state rival BYU, with the match beginning at 7 p.m. on BYU-TV.
Utah's home match against Colorado State on Thu., Nov 12, will be aired live on The Mtn. at 7:30 p.m. MT. The Utes then travel to San Diego State for a Thu., Nov. 19 match that will also appear live on The Mtn. at 7:30 p.m. MT.
The Utes open the 2009 season by hosting Arizona State on Fri., Aug. 28 in the Utah Classic.
