ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Darius Morris had 19 points, 10 assists and only one turnover to lead Michigan in a 75-64 win over Utah on Friday night.
Jay Watkins had 17 points and Will Clyburn and Chris Hines scored 11 apiece for the Runnin' Utes (6-3). They didn't have a double-digit scorer until the final minutes in the game, much too late to make a comeback.
Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 17 points for the Wolverines (7-2) while Zack Novak and Jordan Morgan each had 11 points.
Michigan took control with a 7-0 run midway through the first half, building a 13-point lead, and didn't have much trouble keeping a comfortable margin.
The Wolverines led 39-22 at halftime, and Morgan's three-point play got them off to a good start in the second half.
Hardaway later scored eight straight for Michigan on a dunk and a pair of 3-pointers to keep the lead at 17.
