-Utah was down by as many as 16 points with 14:03 left in the game. The win marks the second time the Utes have come back from a 16-point deficit to win under Boylen. The last time was against No. 20 Illinois at the Las Vegas Invitational in 2009.
-Junior wing Will Clyburn knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer with 11 seconds left in the game. Clyburn finished with a team-high 22 points, eclipsing the 20-point plateau for the sixth time this season. He has been Utah's leading scorer in eight of its 10 games.
-Clyburn also recorded a career-high six assists, matching the most assists by any Ute in a game this year. He also contributed eight rebounds to the win.
-Junior center David Foster recorded four blocked shots. Currently in third place on the all-time blocks list at Utah with 147, Foster is chasing Mitch Smith, in second place with 157 blocks from 1985-89, and the career record of 205, held by Luke Nevill (2005-09).
-Foster has now blocked at least one shot in 37 of his last 39 games over the last two years and has blocked multiple shots in 31 of those contests.
-In addition to Foster's four blocks, sophomore center Jason Washburn and sophomore wing Shawn Glover each added three rejections. The 10-block total was Utah's highest of the year and ties for the fourth-most all-time in a game by the Utes.
-Glover's three blocks were a career high. He also collected a career-best and game-high nine rebounds, while scoring 12 points, one short of his career high.
-Sophomore guard Chris Hines scored a career-high 13 points. His previous career best was 12 at Colorado State, Mar. 3, 2010.
-Junior guard Chris Kupets dished out a career-high four assists, while also contributing eight points.
-Utah's field goal percentage of 52.6 (30-57), 3-point field goal percentage of 45.5 (10-22), free throw percentage of 84.2 (16-19) and assists total of 15, were all the second-highest of the season by the team in their respective categories.
-Boise State recorded 21 assists, the most by any Utah opponent this year.
-Utah is now 3-1 (.750) all-time against Boise State.
- Now in his fourth year at the helm for Utah, head coach Jim Boylen owns a record of 63-45 for a .583 winning percentage.
