All-America Honors Continue for Utes

The postseason honors for the Utah football team continued today, as Caleb Schlauderaff and Shaky Smithson added to their All-America portfolios and Brian Blechen was selected as a Freshman All-American.
Smithson has now made six All-America teams after adding two more citations today when Phil Steele named him a second-team All-America punt returner and SI.com accorded him honorable mention All-America honors. Previously, he was named a first-team All-American by both Walter Camp and Scout/FoxSports.com, earned second-team accolades from CBSSports.com and was a third-team returner by Rivals.com.
Schlauderaff made the SI.com All-America second team today, while also picking up third team honors from the Associated Press and a fourth-team mention from Phil Steele. The senior offensive lineman previously was named a second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Blechen was named to three Freshman All-America teams today. The safety was a second-team pick by Rivals.com and Phil Steele and received an honorable mention citation from CollegeFootballNews.com.
