"Natalie [Edge] swam well tonight and Hannah [Caron] had a great race in the 100 fly," said Utah Head Coach Greg Winslow. "Hannah swam smart and aggressive and it was a lot of fun to watch her control the event from the beginning to the end."
Beth Gunderson (Portland, Ore.) set a new personal best in the 100 back with a time of 56.61. Gunderson's time gave her 12th place and she finished 2.5 seconds behind the race winner, Colorado State's Breanne Fuller.
