-Freshman wing J.J. O'Brien had his first-career double-double with career-highs of 13 points and 11 rebounds, including six on the offensive glass. It was the first double-double by a Ute other than junior wing Will Clyburn this season.
-Junior center David Foster pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds, scored a season-high six points and blocked three shots in the contest. Foster has now blocked at least one shot in 44 of his last 47 games over the last two years and has blocked multiple shots in 36 of those contests.
-With his three blocks in the game, Foster lifted his career blocks total to 168. Currently in second place all-time at Utah, Foster trails only Luke Nevill, who holds the career record with 205 rejections from 2005-09.
-Sophomore wing Shawn Glover recorded a career-high 10 rebounds and was one basket away from a double-double, scoring eight points. He also tied his career-high of three blocks.
-Junior wing Will Clyburn finished the game with 21 points, eclipsing the 20-point scoring plateau for the eighth time this season. He has now scored double figures in all 17 games this year. Clyburn also added two assists and two steals.
-Utah was a +15 in the rebound margin for the game, grabbing 45 boards to BYU's 30.
-The Utes tied their season-best performance from the free throw line, shooting 88.9% (24-of-27). They also shot 88.9% against Weber State earlier this year.
-BYU's 104 points marked the first time Utah had allowed an opponent to score 100 points since March 21, 1996, when Kentucky won by a 101-70 margin.
-Utah now trails the all-time series with BYU, 126-125. The Cougars have won four straight in the series.
