-Junior center David Foster became Utah's all-time leading shot blocker, breaking Luke Nevill's record of 205 (2005-09). Foster blocked three shots in the game, bringing his career total to 207. Foster's third and final block with three seconds left and the Utes leading by one point, essentially won the game. He also added five rebounds on the night.
-Foster has now blocked at least one shot in 56 of his last 59 games over the last two seasons and has blocked multiple shots in 46 of those contests.
-Sophomore guard Chris Hines collected a career-high five rebounds to go with eight points, one assist and one steal. He knocked down 1-of-2 from beyond the arc and has now hit six of his last 10 from 3-point range.
-Freshman wing J.J. O'Brien scored 13 points, hitting double figures for the sixth time this year, and the third time in the last four games. He finished the game 4-of-10 from the field and 5-of-6 at the foul line. O'Brien also added four rebounds, two assists and a career-high two steals.
-After returning from a heel injury that forced him to sit out Utah's win at New Mexico, junior wing Will Clyburn came off the bench to scored seven points, grab five rebounds, make two steals and register and assist in 27 minutes of action.
-With TCU leading 20-19 at halftime, both teams had registered season lows for points scored in any half. The victory marks the second consecutive game that Utah won after trailing at halftime.
-Utah is now 16-1 over the last two years when holding a team under 64 points.
-Utah holds and all-time record of 16-4 against TCU and has won seven straight matchups in the series. Utah is 9-2 at home all-time against the Horned Frogs.
