2012-13 University of Utah Swimming & Diving Schedule
SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah swimming and diving team's 2012-13 schedule will feature a fierce Pac-12 Conference competition as well as six different home meets and several competitive non-conference events.
After Utah hosts its annual Red and White Alumni Meet on Oct. 6 in Salt Lake City, the Utes begin their season with a quad meet against the UCLA, Oregon State women's teams as well as Santa Barbara in Los Angeles on Oct. 12. The following day, Utah's women's team takes on USC.
Utah hosts its first Pac-12 dual meet of the season at Ute Natatorium against back-to-back national champions California on Oct. 27.
The Utes then travels to former Mountain West Conference foe UNLV for a non-conference dual meet on Nov. 10 before going to the Purdue Invitational in West Lafayette on Nov.16-8.
Utah continues its Deseret First Duel rivalry with BYU on Dec. 1 at Ute Natatorium. After a 15-day layoff for final exams, Utah will head to Arizona State for a Pac-12 dual meet in Tempe, Ariz., on Dec. 16.
Back-to-back home meets during the weekend of Jan. 18-19 kicks off the new year as both Utah teams take on Denver on Jan. 18 before the Ute women face conference opponent Oregon State on Jan. 19.
The Air Force Diving Invitational will be held Jan. 25-26 in Colorado Springs before the Utah men's squad faces the Cadets on Feb. 2.
Utah's women's team goes into its final conference dual meet at Washington State on Feb. 15, while the Ute men's squad hosts USC in its final league tilt on Feb. 22. The second Pac-12 Women's and Diving Championships will be held Feb. 27-Mar. 2 in Federal Way, Wash., while the Pac-12 Men's Championships will run from Mar. 6-9 in Long Beach, Calif.
The NCAA postseason begins with the NCAA Zone Diving Championships (Mar. 14-16) in Colorado Springs. Both the NCAA Women's Championships (Mar. 21-23) and the NCAA Men's Championships (Mar. 28-30) will be held in Indianapolis.
