At 5-1, Utah is off to its best start since winning its first eight games in 2010. Its 2-1 conference start is its best since joining the Pac-12 in 2011.
Utah and Oregon State have gone into overtime each of the past two seasons. The Utes fell to OSU in Salt Lake City last year, 51-48.
Utah has played at least one overtime game each of the past six seasons.
Utah's last double-overtime game was a triple-overtime game against Air Force in 2003, a 45-43 Utah win.

Devontae Booker had his first career 200-yard rushing game and his third-straight 100-yard rushing game of the season with a career-high 229 yards on 32 carries. Booker scored all three of Utah's touchdowns, and has a team-leading seven rushing touchdowns this season. Bookers 229 yards is tied for the fifth-highest rushing game at Utah (Marty Johnson vs. Indiana in 2002). His three rushing touchdowns is tied for the second-most in a game in school history, and 32 carries is tied for the ninth-most in school history. Booker has 563 rushing yards in Utah's last three games.
Kendal Thompson started the game at quarterback, going 4-for-8 passing for 17 yards and one interception. Travis Wilson entered in the second half, going 5-for-10 for 45 yards passing.
Dres Anderson led Utah in receiving with four catches for 35 yards.
Andy Phillips went 3-for-3 in field goals with makes of 46, 43 and 38 yards. He is 13-of-15 this season in field goals, and 9-of-11 in field goals of 40+ yards.
Five of Tom Hackett's seven punts landed inside the 20-yard line, including punts at the 14, 12, 10 and 8 yard lines. He has placed 18 of his 37 punts (48.6%) inside the 20 this year. He has 12 punts inside the 10 yard line this season (30 career).
Gionni Paul had his team-leading third interception of the season on OSU's first drive of the game. He had a team-leading 14 tackles, which ties his career high and is his second double-digit tackle game of the season.
Jared Norris had his fifth career double-digit tackle game with 13 tackles.
Jason Fanaika had a career-high 10 tackles.
Nate Orchard had two sacks to bring his season total to 10.5. The last Utah player to have 10 sacks in a season was Garrett Smith in 2000. He also had four TFL, raising his season total to 13.
Hunter Dimick had his second forced fumble of the year in the second quarter. He has three career forced fumbles.
Davion Orphey recorded his first career fumble recovery.
Linebacker Jacoby Hale saw action at linebacker for the first time this season following an injury to start the year.
