SALT LAKE CITY--Utah has accepted an invitation to play in the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 20 in Sam Boyd Stadium. The Utes finished 8-4 overall and 5-4 in the Pac-12 South Division. They will play Colorado State (10-2, 6-2 Mountain West Conference).
"After an exciting regular season, our team is looking forward to playing in a bowl game. Las Vegas is a great destination, not only for our team, but for our fans. We're facing a quality opponent in Colorado State and are looking forward to a good game," said Utah coach Kyle Whittingham.
The game will be televised on ABC with the kickoff scheduled for 12:30 p.m. PT (1:30 MT). Tickets may be purchased at UtahUtes.com or by calling 801-581-UTIX.
