- Utah head volleyball coach Beth Launiere picked up her 500th career win in the Utes' 3-1 (25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20) victory against Oregon State Sunday afternoon at the Huntsman Center.
Launiere, who is in her 26th season at the helm of the Utah Volleyball program, is now 500-317 all-time following the victory on Sunday. All 500 of Launiere's career wins have come at Utah.
"It was really exciting to get a pair of wins at home this weekend," said Launiere. "To get career win No. 500, it really is just a true testament to the program and the great players that we have had come through here. All the wins have been great. There have been a lot of big wins and I am just glad that today was another one of them."
