Utah vs. UCLA

Utah falls to 8-3 and 5-3 in the Pac-12 Conference with a 3-11 all-time record against UCLA. The Utes are 19-25 in league games as a member of the Pac-12.
Utah was held without a touchdown for the first time since a 19-3 loss to USC on Oct. 26, 2013.
The Ute defense held UCLA to season lows in both total offense (325 yards) and points scored (17).
Andy Phillips was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts (scoring all nine points for Utah) with a pair of 39-yard makes and a 21-yarder. He is 21-of-25 this season and holds the Utah school record for career field goals made with 61 total.
Utah outscored UCLA 6-0 in the second quarter and the Utes outgained the Bruins 133 to 15 in the quarter. UCLA did not have a single passing yard in the quarter (0-for-2 passing) and Utah held a 12:10 to 2:50 advantage in time of possession.
The attendance was 46,230, which is the eight-largest in school history. Five of the top 11 crowds in school history have come this season. Utah has sold out 37 consecutive games in Rice-Eccles Stadium, dating back to the 2010 season opener. Of the sellouts, 34 were standing-room only, including all six home games this season.
In his first start at running back for Utah, Joe Williams had a season-high 121 yards on 26 carries (4.7 ypc). He also had 31 receiving yards (4 catches). He had 57 rushing yards (7 carries) on Utah's first drive of the second half that led to Phillips' third field goal of the contest. Williams led Utah with 152 all-purpose yards.
Travis Wilson was 13-for-26 passing for 110 yards. Wilson had 67 rushing yards on 18 carries.
Five total Ute receivers caught passes. Sophomore tight end Harrison Handley led Utah with 32 receiving yards (three catches).
Senior linebacker Jared Norris led Utah with 11 tackles, his fourth double-figure tackle performance this season and the 11th of his career. He had two TFLs and a pass breakup.
Senior linebacker Gionni Paul had 10 tackles, including an assisted TFL. He leads the team with 12.5 TFL this season and 97 tackles this season.
Junior defensive tackle Stevie Tu'ikolovatu had a sack in the third quarter, his second of this season and of his career.
Senior defensive end Kylie Fitts had one TFL and three pass breakups. He leads the team with nine pass breakups this season.
Tom Hackett averaged 49.4 yards on five punts (247 total yards). He landed three inside the 20-yard line with two punts of 50+ yards. He broke the Utah school record for career punt yards with 10,282, surpassing Louie Sakoda (10,188 yards from 2005-08).
