Ute Football Signs Corrion Ballard to National Letter of Intent

SALT LAKE CITY—The Utah football team has announced the signing of junior college safety Corrion Ballard of Humble, Texas (Blinn College) to a National Letter of Intent. Today is the first day of the midyear signing period for JC transfers, which runs through Jan. 15.

Ballard was first-team all-conference and the 2016 co-Defensive Player of the Year in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference as a sophomore at Blinn. He had 41 tackles with three interceptions and eight pass breakups. Ballard was an all-district player at Summer Creek High School (Texas) in 2014.
