SALT LAKE CITY - Seven Utah skiers earned first-team All-RMISA honors, selected based on standing in the NCAA qualification rankings. The Utes also had five skiers earn second-team honors, giving Utah 12 overall selections on the team.
Veronika Mayerhofer and Sloan Storey each earned first-team honors in women's Nordic. Mayerhofer, who was also the RMISA Women's Nordic MVP, has two wins this season (both in the last two races) and nine podium finishes. Storey has one win and four podium finishes this year along with seven top-five finishes. Natalia Müller was a second-team selection. She has three top-five and nine top-10 finishes this year.
In men's Nordic, Nick Hendrickson and Niklas Persson were both first-team selections. Persson has six podium and nine top-five finishes this season. Hendrickson has one win and five podium finishes this year. The Utes had their most skiers selected overall in men's Nordic with two second-team picks in Kevin Bolger and Noé Bellet. Bolger has finished in the top 10 in every race with five top-five finishes. Bellet has five top-10 finishes this season.
In alpine, the Utes had two first-team picks on the women's side in Chloe Fausa and Julie Mohagen. Fausa has two wins this season five top-five finishes. Mohagen has won three races and has five podium finishes. Roni Remme earned second-team honors after finishing in the top 10 seven times with three podium finishes.
On the men's side, Endre Bjertness was a first-team pick. He has two giant slalom wins this season and five top-five finishes. Second-team honoree Dominic Demschar has five top-10 finishes with one podium finish this year.
The NCAA Championships will be held March 9-12 in Steamboat Springs, Colo., with 11 of the 12 Utah skiers on the All-RMISA teams competing for the Utes.
