SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah alpine ski team travels north to Alaska for a pair of meets, the Seawolf Invitational and UAA Invitational, both hosted by Alaska-Anchorage.
The men's and women's giant slalom for the Seawolf Invitational kicks off the week on Jan. 25 with the slalom races for the invite held on Jan. 27. The UAA Invitational kicks off with the giant slalom races on Jan. 26 with the slalom races on Jan. 28. All four races will be held at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska.

The RMISA teams travel to Alaska for two meets every two years.
The Nordic teams will travel to Alaska and compete in their portion of the meet from Feb. 7-12.
In men's alpine, the Utes are led by
Sam Dupratt, who has podium finishes in all three giant slalom races held this year, including a pair of victories (Montana State Invite, Utah Invite).
Endre Bjertness has top-10 finishes in four of the six races this season.
Dominic Demschar has two top-10 finishes in the giant slalom races while
Joergen Brath has two top-11 finishes in slalom races.
Martin Grasic has three top-15 finishes – last week he had the fastest second run in the slalom at the RMISA qualifier.
Ty Sprock and
Sasha Zaitsoff have also competed for the Utes.
For the women,
Chloe Fausa has a win in the Utah Invite giant slalom and three total top-four finishes in the giant slalom races.
Roni Remme has four top-six finishes with a second-place in the RMISA giant slalom qualifier.
Julie Mohagen has three top-10 finishes in the slalom races, including a podium finish of second in the RMISA qualifier.
Abby Ghent has two top-11 finishes in the giant slalom.
Sabine Krautgasser and
Lauren Samuels have also raced this year for the Utes.
