SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah ski team had 10 skiers earn All-Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association honors, announced by the league on Monday. Seven skiers earned first-team honors.
In women's Nordic,
Merete Myrseth and
Guro Jordheim were first team selections. Myrseth has three wins, which is tied for the most in the conference. Jordheim has four podium finishes on the year with eight top 10 finishes.
On the men's side,
Kevin Bolger and
Martin Bergström both earned first team honors. Bolger, who was also the RMISA men's Nordic MVP, has two wins and six podium finishes. He was second-team All-RMISA last season. Bergström had four podium finishes during the season.
Martin Mikkelsen was a second-team selection. He had six top 10 finishes during the year.
In women's alpine,
Roni Remme and
Julie Mohagen were both named to the first team. Remme has two wins and three podium finishes while Mohagen has three podium finishes and five top five finishes. Mohagen also earned first team honors last year while Remme was second-team All-RMISA last season.
Chloe Fausa was a second-team honoree and has earned All-RMISA honors all four years of her career. She has one win this year.
For the men,
Sam Dupratt was a first-team selection after winning three races during the year with four podiums.
Endre Bjertness earned second-team honors after three podiums and five top five finishes. Bjertness is a three-time All-RMISA honoree.
The first and second teams are selected through NCAA qualification points, which are accumulated throughout the season.
