SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah has been selected to host the men's and women's NCAA Cross Country Mountain Regional on Nov. 15, 2019. The regional meet will be held at the Rose Park Golf Course in Salt Lake City.
"We are very excited to be selected by the NCAA Championships committee to host this championship meet once again. It is an opportunity to showcase our great course, University, and Salt Lake City that has hosted this event many times in the past," said head coach
Kyle Kepler. "It is also an opportunity for our student athletes to run one of the most important events at home as they try to return back to the NCAA Championships from one of the best and most competitive regions in the country."
Utah last hosted an NCAA Cross Country Regional back in 2010, also at the Rose Park Golf Course. Sophomore Amanda Mergaert led Utah and qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual after finishing ninth overall.
