SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track & field team had a program record six athletes named CSC (College Sports Communicators) Academic All-District the national association announced on Tuesday.
The previous high for Utah was five back in 2023. This year's honorees have all earned All-America distinction this past season during the cross country, indoor track or outdoor track season and own a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.
It is the first time earning CSC Academic All-District honors for
Chelsea Amoah,
Emily Martin,
Kyla Martin,
Mackenzie Rogers,
Bri Rinn and
Erin Vringer.
E. Martin, K. Martin, Rinn and Vringer all garnered First-Team All-America accolades for their seventh-place finish in the DMR. In addition, Amoah (200m), Rinn (mile) and Vringer (3000m) each earned Second-Team All-American selections in their respective races. It was the first individual All-America honors for all three and the most individual All-Americans for Utah in a single indoor season.
Meanwhile, Rogers earned Second-Team All-America honors during the outdoor season after she finished 15th-overall in the 3000m steeplechase. Amoah wrapped up the year for the Utes with an All-America Honorable Mention nod for her 21st-place finish in the 200m dash.
