Utah and BYU tied in soccer (worth three points) to give 1.5 points to each team on Friday night as the only games that have been played so far in the series.

Utah held BYU to just 63 rushing yards.
 Tyler Huntley had a career-high passing yards and rushing yards for the second-straight week, and his first career 300-yard passing game. Huntley threw for 300 yards (27-of-36, 0 TD, 0 INT) and rushed 19 times for 89 yards and a five-yard touchdown. He had 89 of Utah's 116 rushing yards.

Darren Carrington had his second 100-yard game in two games at Utah and his ninth career 100-yard game (seven at Oregon). Carrington had seven catches for 129 yards with a long catch of 41 yards.
 Siaosi Wilson had a career-high 89-yards receiving (five catches). He had a career-long 48-yard catch in the second quarter.

Seven different receivers caught passes. In addition to Carrington and Wilson, Samson Nacua had a career-high 52 yards receiving (five catches). Also notable among the receivers was Demari Simpkins completing a 14-yard pass.
 Boobie Hobbs had his first career interception in the first quarter with a 29-yard return. He also had three punt returns for 14 yards.
 Filipo Mokofisi had his first career interception in the third quarter with a six-yard return. He caught a pass broken up by Lowell Lotulelei.
 Jaylon Johnson had his first career interception in the third quarter. He also led Utah with two pass breakups.
 Chase Hansen led Utah with eight tackles.
 Matt Gay went 4-for-4 in field goals with makes of 21, 25, 31 and 38 yards. He scored all of Utah's first half points to give Utah a 9-0 lead. Gay is 7-of-7 in field goals this year.
 Mitch Wishnowsky averaged 50.8 yards on five punts (long of 54 yards) with two inside the 20-yard line and three above 50 yards.
