Postgame Notes vs. Stanford

The Utes are 2-0 against Stanford when the Cardinal is ranked in the Associated Press poll. Stanford entered tonight's game ranked 14^thin the A.P. poll, and the Cardinal was ranked fifth in 2013 in a 27-21 Utah win.

Utah has won four of the last five games against Stanford (3-1 as members of the Pac-12 Conference) and is 4-0 in Stanford Stadium.

Utah scored 17 of its 40 points off of four turnovers (two interceptions, two fumble recoveries).

Stanford was held to 42 rushing yards on the night, the third time this season Utah has held its opponent under 100 yards rushing.

Zack Moss became the 14^thplayer in Utah history to reach 2,000 yards rushing with 160 yards on 20 carries (2 TD). It is his third 100-yard rushing game this season (150 vs. Weber State, 106 vs. Washington State) and eighth in his career. His 160 yards rushing is the second-highest single-game rushing total of his career.

Tyler Huntley went 17-of-21 for 199 yards passing (1 TD, 0 INT). Huntley has gone over 1,000 yards passing this season (1,020 yards passing).

Samson Nacua caught Utah's longest pass play of the season, a 57-yard catch from Tyler Huntley for a fourth-quarter touchdown. He had two catches for a career-high 70 yards receiving, which tied for the team lead.

Britain Covey tied for the team lead with 70 yards receiving (six catches).

Jaylon Johnson had a 100-yard interception return in the second quarter, the third 100-yard interception return in Utah's history (Harold Lusk vs. Colorado State, 1994; Gary Barker vs. BYU, 1967). It is the longest interception of the year in the NCAA (through stats headed into this weekend). It was his first pick of the season and his second career pick.

Hauati Pututau had his first career interception in the second quarter. Two linemen have had interceptions this year for Utah, tackle Pita Tonga had a pick against Washington.

Utah forced two fourth-quarter fumbles. Bradlee Anae forced a fumble that was recovered by Corrion Ballard. Javelin Guidry forced a fumble that was recovered by Nick Heninger. Anae led Utah with two sacks and three tackles for loss (five total tackles). Ballard had a team-high two pass breakups.

Chase Hansen led Utah with nine tackles, including a sack and two tackles for loss. It is the fourth time this season he has lead Utah or tied for the team lead in tackles. Cody Barton was second on the team with eight tackles.

Matt Gay went 4-of-4 in field goals with makes of 49, 48, 37 and 34 yards. He has four field goals of 40-plus yards this season (13^thcareer). Gay is 8-of-11 in field goals this season. He has gone 4-of-4 in field goals three times in his career (San Jose State and BYU in 2017).

Mitch Wishnowsky punted twice with a 46.0 average (92 yards), including a 53-yard punt.

Maxs Tupai (defensive end) made his first career start. Orlando Umana made his first start at center after starting the last three games at left guard.
