SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah baseball team will host 'An Evening with Dusty Baker' at the Sheraton City Center on Tuesday, February 5.

Baker spent 39 years in the majors with 19 of those coming as a player and the other 20 as a manager. In his playing days, he primarily played for the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers, but also had short stints with the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics late in his career. The two-time All-Star won the World Series once with the Dodgers in 1981.

After his playing days, he managed for the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and the Washington Nationals. Baker led the Giants to the National League Pennant in 2002 as well as the other three teams to the playoffs. He was named National League Manager of the Year three times.

The evening features a reception at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. There will also be a silent and live auction. Tickets for the event are $100 per person or $1,000 per table (10 plates per table).
