FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Utah started the Pac-12 Men's Swimming Championships this evening with a pair of relay events.
The Utes came through with their best time of the season in the 800 free relay, cutting down by more than four seconds.
Liam O'Haimhirgin,
Austin Phillips,
Felix Chiun and
Rahiti De Vos clocked in at 6:25.75 to finish fifth
In the 200 medley relay,
Paul Ungur,
Jack Burton,
Ben Scott and Rodolfo Moreira finished in 1:25.70, placing sixth overall.
The Pac-12 Championships will continue tomorrow at 11 a.m. PT with the prelims of the 500 free, 200 IM and 50 free. The finals of those events will get underway at 6 p.m. PT along with the 200 free relay.
