Utah falls to 7-9 against Washington State all-time.
Washington State had zero rushing yards, the fewest yards that Utah has held a team to since holding Washington State to minus four yards in 2012.
Tyler Huntley rushed for two touchdowns (24 and 6 yards), tying his career high rushing touchdowns in a game (North Dakota and West Virginia in 2017). He rushed for a season-high 88 yards (17 carries). Huntley was 12-of-20 passing for 118 yards (0 TD, 0 INT).
Zack Moss had his second 100-yard rushing game of the season (seventh career) with 106 yards rushing on a career-high 30 carries. Moss scored his team-leading fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the first quarter on a six-yard run. He has scored a rushing touchdown in six-straight games dating back to 2017.
Jaylen Dixon caught Utah's longest reception of the day for 38 yards to lead the Utes in receiving yards. Three of his four career receptions have been for 35-plus yards.
Chase Hansen led Utah with seven tackles, including two tackles for loss.
Corrion Ballard had his third career interception (first this season) in the first quarter, which led to a Utah touchdown. He had three tackles and two pass breakups.
Maxs Tupai blocked the first field goal of his career in the third quarter.
